Saddle-stitch
binding is a quick and simple binding option that
allows for text editing across pages and enables
the saddle-stitched materials to lie flat when open.
Saddle-stitch binding is to make the inner pages
and the cover of a document aligned and placed in
page number order, folded in half, and bound securely
with two to three saddle-stitch staples along the
spine of the document.
The top, bottom and outside edge of the pages may
be trimmed after the document is saddle-stitched.
The page count for a saddle-stitched document must
be in multiples of four. This style of binding is
excellent for weekly and monthly publications, a
wide range of booklets, catalogues, etc.
